White Island (Whakāri) Volcano - New Zealand’s Most Active Volcano



White Island (Whakāri) sits 48 km offshore from New Zealand. It is New Zealand's most active cone volcano. It has been active for around 150,000 years, with 70% of the volcano being underwater.
